I have a Bachelor of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Studio Art. I graduated Cum Laude with a membership in the Outside the Classroom Curriculum. I am currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing my MSEd in School and Mental Health Counseling. I currently have a 4.0 GPA in my program.
Experience
I currently work as a Direct Support Professional with an adult with disabilities. I tutor him daily in 2nd grade level studies. I've worked as a Sunday school teacher for 2 years and have also tutored fellow college students in Psychology. I received a 32 on my ACT in high school. I want to be a tutor because I want to help students reach their potential educationally and make them feel good about themselves while doing it! I've taken multiple teaching classes, specifically in math, and have much experience working in schools, specifically with students with disabilities. I've also been a camp counselor for the last four summers where I work and live with campers for six weeks. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

Hobbies
I love crafts and painting. I would paint all day if I could. I believe art is an amazing outlet to relieve stress and as a mode of self care. I also love animals of any kind. I enjoy reading as well when I have free time and watching current movies with my parents. I used to ride horses and ice skate, both of which I still love to do if I get the chance. I also love to hang out with my family, extended and immediate, and babysit my cousins' children when I can! Finally, I love to travel whenever and where ever I can.
