Let me, as a professional tutor, help your child set and achieve great learning goals! I am an experienced tutor and certified teacher in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My greatest strengths are writing (at every level), and math (K-8). I have tutored both subjects successfully. I was awarded a five star rating from Wyzant Tutoring Service. I also received the Recognition of Excellence award from the Educational Testing Service for my scores on the Praxis (teacher preparation) exams. I love helping students achieve their educational goals! I do a broad range of tutoring, from every aspect of elementary education to high school level English, Pre-Algebra,and Algebra I. I am very interested in tutoring SAT prep, and ACT prep, Reading, Writing and Verbal. Tutoring will happen at the location of your choice- a local library, a cafe, or your home! I am willing to travel five miles to the tutoring location. I am also open to tutoring online using Skype. As an employee of a public school district, I have had all the required background checks and clearances. I would be happy to send you copies so that you are completely comfortable with me as your tutor. Charge- $35.00/hr.
